Love is in the air in the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Third Wheel. Jeff Kinney writes about Greg finding a date to the Valentines Day Dance. Do you think Greg will find a date?
Throughout this book Greg Heffley is trying to find a date for the dance. At first he doesn’t have have very good luck , but he made Rowley Jefferson, his best friend, join the Student Council Committee to try and find out if anyone in the Student Council did not have a date.
Well a few days before the dance Abigail Brown loses her date.  Greg asks Rowley  to be his wingman and tells him to ask Abigail out for him, and she says………..Yes!
Have you ever had someone tell you they can’t go with you somewhere so you ask someone else to go, then the person that said they couldn’t go show up with someone else? Greg has. This is my favorite part of the book. Gregs date,Abigail, was dumped because the boy she was going with couldn’t go. later that night at the dance, Michael the boy who dumped her, showed up with another girl. It’s my favorite part, because it has never happened to me and I just want to be ready someday if it does.
On a scale of 1-10 this book to me is an 8 or 9, because the writing looks like mine and it makes me feel like I would write something about because it would probably happen to me.

The best thing ever is family.
Family is so great to be around,
you can have enjoyable times or have uninteresting times.

My family and I are restless.
We play basketball,baseball,and volleyball.
It is so much fun being around them.
My family is the best thing that ever happened
to me.

THE BIG SURPRISE!

When  I opened my last  present,  there was
one more present for the whole family. Mom told us
to turn towards her so my brother Reid  could open
the cabinets. Then my mom told us to turn around.
“AHHHHH!!!!!” we all screamed. There was a big
poster with a cruise ship on it.
My dad showed us what cruise we were going on
through the Ipad we got. We  are going on the Carnival
Magic it is brand new it started in November. We
get to go on July 15, 2012. These are the places we get to go:Cozumel,Mexico, Retain, and Belize.
That was the best present  of all.

THE BIG KAHUNA
I went to the coolest water park ever.There was a lazy river,wave pool,and baby slides,but the most fun was (dun,dun,dun)the RHINO RIVER.There was a drop off,bumping,floats,and getting stuck,but that was the most fun.Sometimes you would float away from your family &
friends.But I didn’t go with my family I went with Avery Moore & her
parents.We flew because her dad is is a pilot and he has his own airplanes.I loved it and I was very happy they took me.It was very exciting
because that was the first time i ever went to the beach.The water park was an  Island theme.I had a best time ever.
