How people deal with Extreme emotion

“Billy, come down here!” Stacey yelled to him. Billy slammed the door and rushed angrily downstairs. When extreme emotions taker over someone’s mindset it is important to keep in mind how someone looks and how they are acting. When people deal with extreme emotions they can become a stronger person and it also helps them live a life with less panic and fear.
When in a situation when strong emotions are present, using pride and control can help anyone become a stronger person. For example, in Night by Elie Wiesel even though Elie was confronted by the tribulations of the concentration camps and the death of his father, he was able to deal with sadness and anger because he accepted the pain he was going through. Elie had so much anger in his body after Idek let his fury out on him, but somehow managed to take the French girls advise and controlled and silenced his hatred for once. Through keeping these emotions to himself, Elie became a stronger person mentally.
Everyone has been in situation where you were completely shocked before your eyes. For example, someone is babysitting a friends little sister and they decide to take a swim outside and they turn for a split second and turn back and see her struggling for air underwater. Most would just stand their waiting for a miracle, very few would take action and think quick. A very common extreme emotion is fear. In addition, someone’s family member has been an a car wreck, and they are the emergency contact. They hear the words “There has been an accident.” and everyone around that person automatically sees fear in their eyes. Therefore, with fear comes panic in situations like this. Everyone has had that panic moment and most adults have learned to control it and take action. It should be the same way for kids and teens.
Therefore, dealing with extreme emotions can teach people of all ages many life lessons. Billy learned that the more he controlled his emotions the less stressful his life became. He was never in trouble when his mom called him downstairs. He just thought he was, so Billy learned that he should always be calm so that he does not get in trouble in the future.
